Chandler Domingos
Artist Statement
My inspiration comes from the stretch of time required to make magnificent rock formations. I imagine what this process may look like abstracted and frozen in time. There is an energetic movement that is invisible when you look at nature and that fascinates me to my core. In my work, the most important aspect is the play and problem solving to create a visually interesting work of art that communicates an intense emotion. To do this I use bright colors and lines to show movement and organic patterns.
Artist Biography
Chandler Domingos is a contemporary painter based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BFA of Arts in Studio Art with emphasis on painting and sculpture.
