Jelliii: Jasmine Jones & Kelley Queen Collaboration
The art duo Jelliii is made of Jasmine Jones and Kelley Queen. They met at the University of Oklahoma in 2016 while studying for undergrad, each obtaining their Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2018. Jones and Queen are multidisciplinary artists. (Jones works primarily in watercolor painting and digital visuals, and Queen works primarily in acrylic painting and textiles.) They aim to incorporate insight, magic, and play in their solo and collaborative work – paying special attention to show that art can spark whimsy and be inviting for everyone. The alignment of these creative ideas officially sparked Jelliii into existence in 2019. Together as Jelliii, Jones and Queen have completed 4 murals, an interactive performance, and have countless more creative plans for the future of Jelliii.
