Gabriel Rojas
Artist Statement
Inspired by patterns in nature and humanity, I form “structures” with a wide range of imagery to comment on the cycle of life and the interconnectedness of everything. The imagery, from the microscopic to the cosmic, comes from improvisation, where I allow the stream of consciousness to lead the way. I am always trying to find connections between disparate elements. This interplay is about searching for universality through painting.
