Robb Schiermeyer

Artist Statement

I have many inspirations to apply paint to canvas. Whether it is a landscape, design of nature, or the human form, I attempt to recreate the “feeling” of what made me want to paint the subject. I am self taught and view every painting as an opportunity to improve and experiment with nuances of painting.

My professional background is in medicine. Painting forces me to slow down and really pay attention to the beauty and peace that is all around.
